Hello Parents,

This week the children have been making different sea animals like: jellyfish, octopus and starfish, for their classroom display. They are continuing to learn about the sea animals and the number six. They have also been going over all the colours, shapes and numbers that they have learnt.

                            HAPPY BIRTHDAY TO:   Tino in K1 D

On Tuesday 29th May, we will  be celebrating Canary Day at school. The children and the teachers will come dressed in  Canary costume and we will be singing the songs that we have been practising all week. The songs are ‘Somos costeros’, ‘De belingo’ and ‘Andres Andres’. The children have really enjoyed singing these songs in class, and can’t wait for Tuesday, when they will be able to sing them dressed up in their costumes and have a fun day-AS WE WILL BE HAVING A LITTLE PARTY  TO CELEBRATE CANARY DAY SHOULD YOU WISH TO SEND IN ANY  CRISPS, BISCUITS, JUICE AND MAYBE SOME TYPICAL CANARY SWEETS OR CAKES WE WOULD APPRECIATE THIS VERY MUCH
Remember that there is no school on Wednesday 30th  May as it is Canary  Day! We hope you all have a nice day celebrating it with all your family.

Next week the K1s will be going on our trip to LA HUERTA – El calero TELDE. We will be leaving at 8:45 and returning at 13:45.

There will be two trip days:

K1C and K1D will go on THURSDAY 31^ST MAY

K1C- yellow t-shirt
K1D- red t-shirt

K1A, K1B and K1E will go on FRIDAY 1^ST JUNE
(Miss Joanna, Miss Caroline and Miss Karen)
K1A- green t-shirt
K1B- blue t-shirt
K1E- orange t-shirt



***Please check that your child has a cap/hat to wear on the day.
